Philips Healthcare, a global leader in medical imaging, is expanding its Global Nuclear Medicine headquarters by moving 100 R&D jobs from Silicon Valley to Cleveland; the company's Global CT business is also headquartered in Cleveland and together the units employ 1,200 in the region today.
Steris, a leader in hospital technologies, is adding a new manufacturing operation and 100 new positions to its global headquarters where it employs over 1,000.
Both companies were assisted in their expansions by the State of Ohio,
JobsOhio, regional governments and economic development organizations.
