Cleveland HeartLab, a biomarker testing company spun out of the Cleveland Clinic, raised an $18.4 million B round led by Excel Ventures and Health Care Ventures, both of Boston, and joined by existing Cleveland investors, Glengary Ventures, Second Generation and Zapis Capital. The company has grown to nearly 80 employees. Funds will be used to fuel further expansion.
