Fluence Therapeutics Inc. is a spinoff of University Hospitals Case Medical Center which is commercializing photodynamic therapy (PDT) for the treatment of psoriasis and other skin diseases.  PDT is a combined product which uses light from a proprietary device to activate the photosensitizer which destroys selected cells and tissues.
